Visual analysis is an usual way to measure the works of the designers in advertisement industry. For the sellers, they are really concerned about whether the images drawn by the designers are suitable for their product or whther the photographers shooting are approproate for the theme of their products as well as slogan. There are several ways to propoganda the products through images.Lingusitic message on the poster is actually a very important element to show brand of products. For the reason that the linguistic message can guide identification while inerpretation wich proliferating the connoted meaning (Hill and Wang ,1981). Advertisements are using this character to deliver their own brand value, relating to the value of photograph.

However, photograph is private not public first. People take photo maybe for memory. Memory for the important time of one’s life, meomry for the death person, memory for the memory. The moment was shot by camera, the referents have the right to advocate for their privacy. Although the private is not permanent. As Roland Barthes (1981) said that each is read as the private appearance of its referent: the age of Photography corresponds precisely to the explosion of private into the public, or rather into creation of a new social value, the private is consumed.

So this is the reason why nowadays so many advertisements began to use image to propoganda their products instead of big-character poster. A set of good images can not only deliver the value to the public but also can let the public consuming their products. Celeberities or items those refernts on the image are private refernts in nature. Once they take money from the companies od products, they gave tracit consent to expose them to the public in order to deliver an message to the public , asking the public to buy the productioin. So the important thing for visual analysis is to figure out the porpuse of the photographer and refernts so that the analysising can be exactly.
